REVIEW – “Have the ease and convenience of the yellow pages in the palm of your hand.”
This is a great app for finding out the contact information for local businesses as well as looking up information for any specific business. YP Mobile is a fast and easy to use app for those who do not want to search the internet for contact information.
When you first open this app it asks to use your location. Then it gives you a list of local businesses based on your search. You can choose to search for something specific like Tijuana Flats or you can just search for restaurants and see what comes up. 
Then once you find the place you are looking for or what looks interesting then you can tap to get more information. From there you can get contact info, the address and access to directions. Some of the locations will include details or reviews from other people so you can see if that site is what you are looking for.
If you choose you can search for local events, which is a great addition because it is a fun way to plan out a date night. You can see what plays the local theaters are playing, what bands are playing and even if the circus is in town. Then it gives you the location and who to call for tickets and more information.
You can then browse for businesses and places based on suggestions that the app gives you, which is also a nice feature.
It also has a plans feature where you can create plans using the locations and then you can easily email it to everyone that you would like to invite.
It even allows you to save your favorite locations so that you can get find their contact information quickly and easily.
All in all this app does exactly what you would expect and there are plenty of apps out there that will do basically the same thing. What is great about this app is that it just gives you everything you want and nothing you don’t.
One thing to note though is that because this is a free app you do have to contend with small adds on the bottom. They did not bother me all that much but they may bother you.
