REVIEW – “A great historical resource on America!”

Whether you are politically minded, liberal, conservative, or just iPhone App Review - We the People - The Citizens Almanac 1like to study history you this app is chock full of all kinds of interesting information!  We the People – Citizen’s Almanac is an app that catalogues a great deal of documents and information that will help you to understand America and the values that started it.  Whether you are tired of trusting iPhone App Review - We the People - The Citizens Almanac 2what other people say about history and want to check it out or you are looking to find specific information, you should definitely check this app out!

The first thing that I’d like to point out is that this app did not used to be free so whether or not you really are convinced yet I would encourage you to go ahead and download it before the price goes back up!  Now that I’ve got that out of the way on to the app itself.  Once you open up this app you will see a very brief loading screen and then you will be taken to the last place that you had the app open to.

The interface of the is easy to navigate and iPhone App Review - We the People - The Citizens Almanac 3when you open it up for the first time the main screen will tell you how to control it.  Tapping in the center of the screen will open up the menu and touching it again will take it away so you can use the entire screen for reading.  The top bar has the name of the document you are viewing, as well as the section you are in and then a “Bookmark” button in the upper right corner.  This allows you to easily mark certain sections for future reference.

The menu at the bottom of the screen has several different navigation options.  The “Chapters” mode will give you a overview of all the material that is covered.  This will be the favorite of people that are wanting to read iPhone App Review - We the People - The Citizens Almanac 4up on this kind of information for the first time because it kind of allows you to find information by theme.

Also in the menu at the bottom of the screen there is  a “Bookmark” list and a “Search” page.  The Search page is especially useful because it allows you to find specific documents that you might be looking for.  It also serves as an index to all of the content if you don’t type anything in the search field!

I have seen a lot of apps in the app store with some of the information that this app contains, but I have definitely not seen one with all of this information for free!  Whether you are just curious about exactly what America was founded on or even if you need information to debate with on various political topics I would highly recommend “We the People!”
