I love typing games and to finally find a decent one for the iPhone is a great find. TypeType Speed Typer is not only a great typing game but it has some unique attributes that makes it really fun to play.
The game is done in an old-fashioned style. The style is that of an old postcard and your goal is to correctly write out this postcard. Each level features the back of a different old postcard and you are typing famous quotes. So not only are you improving your typing but you are learning great quotes from some of the world’s greatest writers and thinkers. 
The game play begins by having you type up sections of the quotes and the people who said them. A great thing is that it includes capital letters and punctuation so that you will have to toggle the keyboard. So you will get faster and better at typing on your iphone.
Now there is no sound to this game so those who like background music and such may be a tad disapointed but that is perhaps the biggest fault in this game. The other faults include the fact that while I really enjoy the different postcard backing and the old fashioned look it can sometimes make it hard to read the words.
The default setting is to have the writing in script in order to fit the old-fashioned theme but you can enter options and switch this to a regular font that is much easier to see. The settings mode is also where you can switch the difficulty in case easy becomes well too easy for you.
You can also compete for the highest score with other players and that is always a nice feature for those of us who are competitive. In the end what I like most about this app is the unique theme and the fact that I finally have a way to get my iPhone typing speed as fast as my computer typing speed (though I doubt I will be reaching that goal any time soon.)
This is also a great way to kill a few minutes but I would like to see a pause feature as part of this game. There are times when I want to just take a quick break in between levels and I find myself losing in that moment.
If you like typing games then this is a great game for you and it will also eventually increase your productivity as you will be able to respond to emails and text messages faster than ever before.
