As a child I used to love creating masterpieces with my spin art but the whole process rarely ended without some sort of mess. But with SpinArt you no longer have to worry about creating a mess but you can create great works of art regardless.

What I love about this app is that it is so easy to use and it comes with a wide range of colors so that you can really create just about any look you want.

When you start off you are given a plain white sheet of paper. If you want to change this then you simply click the star icon. From there you can change the color of the background to whatever color you have selected or you can choose to use a photo from your library to use a base.

Then you can start splattering paint. At first the picture is stationary but if you want it to start spinning then you click the icon with the green arrows. Then you can use your fingers to start the canvas spinning in either direction and at any speed you want. If you want to stop the spinning, slow it down or change the direction all you have to do is click this icon again.

Then once you have the canvas spinning you can start adding your paints. The app comes with a wide range of colors so you’ll never be at a loss for choice. If you click on the different ink splat icons you change the amount of paint that gets dropped onto the canvas. I highly recommend doing a great deal of experimenting with different ways to toss the paint onto the canvas because you can really create some cool looks.

Once you are done all you have to do is click the star icon and you have a number of different avenues that you can use to save or publish your art.

This is a great app for anyone with kids because it gives them the ability to create art and the illusion of creating a mess, without the actual mess. It is also great for adults looking to recapture their youth or just never got the chance to play with one of these as a kid.
