REVIEW – “Turn your Photos in wild works of art!”
There are tons of photo manipulation apps for the iphone and the goal of this one seems to turn your photos into abstract works of art. Pic PicASso takes any photo of anyone and turn it into something funny, ugly or just plain strange.
This is perhaps one of the easiest photo manipulation devices out there and it gives you plenty of opportunities to change how the picture looks if you do not like the first couple of tries.
When you start it up you are given the option to either take a picture or use one from your photo album, this is very typical of apps like these so figuring out that part is very easy.
Then you are taken to a screen that shows the picture large on the top and then smaller in the bottom right corner. The large photo is the one you manipulate while the one below is simply there to remind you what you started with. I always appreciate it when photo manipulation apps give me the before picture to refer to and it is nice to have it always on the screen in this app.
To change the picture simply make adjustments on the slider bar. It might take a few seconds for the changes to appear so give it time. The app recommends that you go to the right for larger faces and to the left for smaller ones. But even if you return back to the same position multiple times you will always get a different result.
This is a fun app to play around with. I wish it had a bit more range and maybe a few more features considering it is a paid app. My other slight issue is that I don’t care for the name of the app. But as long as the app works the name is pretty irrelevant.
If you like photo manipulation apps then you might want to give this one a try especially if you like the effects that this one creates.
