With five cats and a baby on the way it is easy for someone’s appointment to slip through the cracks. But with PetMinders everything I need to keep track of, for all five of my cats is right in the palm of my hand.
PetMinders is simple to use. All you need to do is press the “+” in the corner to add anything that you need to keep track of. Then you simply fill in the blanks with the name of the appointment, the pet, the time, the category and the email where you can be sent a reminder. Once you have it all set up it shows right on the main screen. 
What I like about the main screen is that it says what and when and gives you an idea of what is coming up. What I don’t like is that in order to find the pet that it refers to I have to click the appointment and get more information. I would rather have the name of the pet show on the main screen rather than the category (in fact I really found the category section basically useless.)
But there is even more to this app than simply a way to keep track of everything going on with your pets. It also gives you access to a wide range of informational videos that deal with a number of products to help your pet. While many of these videos are little more than PetSafe advertisements they can point you in the direction of some products you might actually need.
I think that this app is very simple and easy to use, but at times it seems almost too simple. I would like to see a bit more added to it and some customization. Perhaps being able to change the color of the task based on the pet or even what type of appointment it was. It would also be nice to have a notes section so that I can input things like dosing information or what the vet said at the appointment that I need to remember.
All in all it a great app but one that many people will just use their calendar for. Others might find it useful to have an app geared just for their pets as an extra reminder.
