We’ve all been at that point where we just can’t think of what to order so we rely on our staples, the same drinks we always stick to because we know how to order them. Mixologist changes this problem, by simply adding the types of ingredients you want to use, you can have the app create amazing drink ideas that you will love.
Of course this app works outside of the bar as well. Currently I have a house full of liquor because every time my husband thinks up a drink, it includes the one thing we don’t have on hand. But with Mixologist I can input everything that we have and make sure that we have something new and interesting to make, that does not involve another trip out.
The use of this app is very simple. If you want to find drinks that you can make with the ingredients you have at home you simply click the cabinet icon and check off everything you have. Then the app will find all the drinks that match your criteria and trust me there will probably be quite a few. Personally I think we have enough drink recipes to outlast the liquor…which may only lead to other problems.
But if you are out and about this may not help you too much. So then you can go to the random section, here you can choose a favorite liquor, a favorite mixer and even the type of drink (by choosing the class it is served in), set the spinner and see what happens. Within seconds you have a drink you are bound to love and one that you might even have to explain to the bartender.
If you do have to try and explain it, don’t worry because the app includes complete recipes so that you can easily make any of the drinks listed. There are thousands of drinks using over a thousand ingredients so it will be a long time before you manage to get through all of these.
This is a great app for anyone that wants to be a bartender because it includes extra tips and tricks that you will need to know and just about every drink that anyone will ever order. You can easily search or scroll through the entire drink library so that you will never again have to ask someone what’s in that? ever again.
I love how easy this app is to use and how much information it contains. There are a variety of ways to search for a drink that you might like or one that you might have forgotten how to make. The ease in which it creates drinks that you might make with the ingredients you have really makes it a great addition to any party, and you’ll never have to worry about someone complaining that you don’t have the stuff to make their favorite drink, because you’ll have plenty of other drinks to impress them with.
