Review – “The never ending puzzle app comes to your iPhone!”
I’ve seen a lot of creative strategy games on the iPhone 
platform. What separates this one from a lot of its competition is that it has a very unique concept. Jigsaw Live allows you to literally put together a puzzle that has its “picture” being updated live by using your iPhone’s Camera! Before I get too far into this review, it’s important to know that this app will only work with the iPhone 3GS due to performance limitations!
The load time for this game is pretty good, and the menu’s are extremely simple. In just a few quick seconds you can easily get a new game started. There are several options from the menu to adjust the difficulty. You can play on anything from a “2×2″ grid, all the way up to a “10×10″ grid of 
squares! This game can easily challenge someone that loves spending time putting together puzzles, and at the same time be adjusted so that even small children can play!
Once you select a difficulty level and a “shape” for your pieces you’re ready to get started so just touch the “Play” button. The main game play screen starts out with the pieces put together in the middle. To get started just shake your iPhone and all of the pieces will be scattered out. Putting them together is as simple as touching and dragging them around the screen. When you find pieces that fit together they will “snap” and stay together until you finish the puzzle that you’re working on!
At the bottom of the screen is a simple menu with a few options. You can choose to get a “Hint” if you’re totally stumped. What this does is highlight two squares that go together somehow. It doesn’t tell you how they go together, but it’s not all that hard to figure it out usually!
Probably the coolest option in the menu at the bottom is the “freeze” option. While it is definitely cool to work on a “live” puzzle, the freeze feature allows you to find something you’d like to use as a puzzle and set it as the puzzle background! It’s this feature that truly makes this game endless, because you can literally create new puzzles out of anything in just a few seconds!
I could ramble on about this app, but the fact is that it is really just short and sweet! Again, if you’re looking at this app it will only work on the iPhone 3GS, so make sure you keep that in mind! If you love puzzles, I think that you’ll find this game very hard to pass up, and best of all it’s only $0.99. So what are you waiting for? Check it out in the App Store today!
