REVIEW – “Attention shoppers: No lines over here!”
When it comes to shopping, I would like to think that I am an expert. It takes a real art to learn how to find bargains, remember locations, strategically place items that you are not 100% sure about but still don’t want anyone else to have yet… there are a lot of elements to shopping and I would like to believe that I utilize any and all as necessary. I discovered iShoes accidentally but have yet to be disappointed by the app.
iShoes is an easy to use app that’s sole goal is to find shoes. The Shoe Finder allows you to pick the type of shoes: athletic, boots, pumps, sandals, etc and also pick the brand: Adidas, Bana Republic, Michael Kors, Blowfish, etc. Of course there is the option to search by all (this is my favorite) so that you don’t miss anything. But be careful – there are hundred, if not thousands of shoes in this app and you could be scrolling for hours. Regardless of your search, the options are there so that you take as little or as much time as you need to find just what you are looking for.
Once you have chosen your search, the options are displayed in a list that you can scroll through. Each selection has a picture, the brand and shoe name and if it is on sale, it will have a sale sticker next to the option. With each shoe selection, there is an arrow to the right that allows you to expand your selection and gives the details of that particular shoe. In addition to the repeating information of the name and brand, the Details section lists the price (full and sale, when applicable), retailer and specific information about the shoes: heel size, material, colors, etc. In addition to the biography of any particular pair of shoes, you can mark as a “favorite” so that
you can come back to it later; check the retailer to purchase the shoes or should you care to share your selection, connect and share via Facebook as well.
I found this app very easy to use and not too overwhelming – although sometimes it’s hard to stop searching mid-scroll even when there are things that need to be done right then (check the burning food, feed the crying baby, etc). The options are there, the details of the shoe, the ability to purchase from your phone and the option to mark as a favorite so that you can come back to it. It’s a great way to look for shoes – especially since the holiday season is here and honestly, who enjoys battling for parking spots or elbow-checking your way through a store? Not me! Download iShoes now – it’s fun, free and full of shoes.
