REVIEW – “When ESPN is out of reach, search your pocket, and what you find will be SPORTacular!”
From its launch, Sportacular is an app that is an asset to any and all sport lovers. Its interface is negotiable and offers so much in such a seemingly small package. In real time, from major league baseball to international soccer, Sportacular has it all.
Following the icon at the upper left-hand corner of the screen, leads you to a list of leagues to choose from. You can even pre-select your teams and follow them. Returning to the main screen you will see the schedule of games for the day in your selected league and you can even elect to view the pre-game odds and stats. Being a Missourian, I can see that the Royals are playing the Tigers 6:05 pm ET today. I can even see what time they are playing tomorrow by just following the arrows on either side of today’s date at the top of the screen. Sounds like a lot already, huh? There’s more.
At the bottom of the screen there’s a standings feature that divides your selected league by conference or sub-league. It even allots space for wild card picks and playoff brackets! And Sportacular only gets better from there.
There’s also a news feature hat gives you the latest league headlines with a small news blurb. Wanna know more? Just tap on the headline and you’ll be redirected to the full text story. You’ll never miss a beat with Sportacular. You can even keep track of your own picks and compare them to the actually results as the season progresses? Is there anything Sportacular hasn’t thought of? There’s no live league coverage or play-by-play action, but as a pocket-sized plethora of sports information, Sportacular knocks the ball right of the park. Sportacular has all the sports information you need in one nice app that is easy to navigate. For those serious sports fans who can’t possibly watch 4 monitors at once, or who are constantly on the go.
