REVIEW – “Free calls and instant messaging keeps you in contact!”
Nimbuzz is an innovative instant messaing client that allows users to connect with contacts who use Skype, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Google, and more. It allows users to also get rid of any of these individual instant messaging clients and use one, simple app to take care of any communicating needs. Downloading this app was easy and went without a glitch. Once I set up all the necessary information, I was greeted with a bright, clean interface that caught my eye and focused my attention on my contact list. Once I clicked on a friend’s contact, I was brought to a screen where I could either instant message them, call or send a message. I was intrigued by the call feature, so I clicked on the button at the bottom of the screen. I found that all my contacts were already added to the app and it worked seamlessly. Calls were of good quality, and best of all, free! This app uses the internet to make phone calls, and users can even call internationally.
I found this app to be better than other instant messaging clients of its time, because of its quick loading times, nice looking interface and the ability to make free calls. Nimbuzz also allows users to back up their contacts online as well as send photos, music and even video to contacts. Landscape mode is also included, which adds to the functionality and ease of use for this app. Overall, I came to the conclusion that this app is extremely useful and I found myself wanting to use this app over other IM clients like because of its quality of free calls and the integration of many IM companies.
