When a friend first told me about kayak.com a few years ago, I fell in love so naturally, when I found out the app, my love was renewed and I immediately found a special place on my screen for this wonderful app. Kayak.com has helped me find a lot of plane tickets and the app is no different.
Convenient and easy to use, the Kayak app is an alternative to using your web browser to connect to the site and search flights. The calendar allows you to click and drag, highlighting the days you wish to travel and the results can be filtered in many different ways so that you only have to look at what you are interested in seeing. One of the reasons that I love this app versus using safari on my iPhone is that the app is completely user friendly and easy to search, filter and display all of your results. I really enjoyed this feature because you are able to select the
number of stops you are interested in or the price range that you want to search, anything that refines the search to tailor more to you, can be done.
As does the website, Kayak also offers searches on hotels and car rentals as well as shows the current trends and fare fluctuation on any flight that you are searching. The icons at the bottom make it easy to search between the different options and the “more” button allows you to get the complete contact information for just about any airline – very helpful, especially when en route. The convenience and ease of this app cannot be stressed enough – everything you need is literally at your fingertips and fortunately is easy to find.
In addition to the ease of the application and clean, simple interface, Kayak has a help/FAQ section and an easy way to provide feedback. The customer is clearly the focus of this app and this company, allowing just about everything to be completely user friendly. Thank you Kayak, for keeping your customer in mind and developing such a convenient app. Finding flights is hard enough, you made it easy.
