I must admit, iTrain is the greatest fitness application I have seen thus far. From its launch, iTrain is easy to understand and easy to navigate. Also, unlike other applications, it reminds users to consult a physician before proceeding, which is very important or anyone who likes to stay active and healthy.

    

When iTrain launches, you can choose from a list of exercises, training programs and fitness test. Tired of troubleshoot different workouts in the gym and hoping you get those toned shoulders? iTrain offers an interactive body that allows you to select these target areas, gives you workouts to exercise these areas effectively, and even offers you an instructional video to guide you. However, while the iPhone is internet ready, you do have to have WiFi access on your iPod to see these videos, which can make iTrain ineffective if you’re gym does not have internet access.

    

If you want a specialized program, iTrain has that too. From beginning to expert, you can workout your body from shoulders to calves. You can even set up a weight loss cardio program, muscle conditioning, or 4-week program. It’s like having a trainer in the palm of your hand, but still having money in your pocket.

    

I’d say the most important and effective features that iTrain offers is its “Test” section. Before any physical activity, it’s good to know your limits. Here, iTrain allows users to test their strengths and weaknesses in order to better them. All you have to do is perform your best. For instance, if you can only do 20 chin ups in one hit (repetition) then do them and save that number in iTrain. All of this information is stored in your personal stats and you can follow up with it at anytime to see what progress you are making. iTrain is app that will not only save you money, but time. With a narrow focus on the areas you want to work, iTrain is seemingly one of, if not the, most effective health apps out there.
