REVIEW – “A grade school classic in the palm of your hands!”
I don’t know about you, but as a child I loved a rousing game of hangman. I was addicted. It was better than heads up 7 Up, Hide-And-Go-Seek, and Red Rover all rolled into one. I can’t think of one game of Hangman that I’ve ever lost and this app, while challenging is no different.
You have 7 chances to guess the wrong letters. None of that drawing fingers and feet thing that makes the game easier. You get a head, a body including arms and legs, and on your last wrong guess you are officially hung.
There’s a timer that keeps track of how long you take to solve the puzzle. There’s no real time limit. Perhaps, you can simply pose a challenge to yourself. I mean, there’s only 26 letters in the alphabet so it shouldn’t be too difficult. You can choose from a variety of categories: English, Food and Drink, Fruit and Vegetable, Family, Boy
Names, Girl Names, Clothes, Colors, Body Parts, and World Countries.
There are some pretty interesting words, such as “prawn,” which is a marine crustacean that is similar to shrimp. Who knew? Thus Hangman is not only a fun and often challenging game but it can really expand your vocabulary, making it a game for all ages! You’re never to young or old to learn, right?!
Perhaps the cutest feature that Hangman Classic Free offers is the ability to choose between “pencil on paper” or “chalk on blackboard”. It really brings back the good ol’ schoolhouse days. Download it today, I promise it will have you as giddy as you were as a child!
