REVIEW – “Quiz me iPhone”
I’d like to start off saying that this app is only going to be of interest to people that are in med school. Specifically those that are looking for study tools to help them pass the NCLEX-RN exam. There really isn’t anything else to this app that would interest most people.
As you open up the app, you will see 2 options to review. “Drugs” and NCLEX”. Opening either one will give you a selection of the topics you can review. The review basically works like flash cards. The first screen you see brings up a question that might appear on the exam. Once you have read it, pushing the forward arrow will bring up the answer, and appropriate related information to that question.
The application starts up and runs quickly and smoothly, and the answers to the questions seem very thorough. It also has a very convenient, “resume” button in the upper right corner. Pressing this button will bring up the last set of questions you had open when you last closed the app.
The free question set that comes with this app is very limited, but they are thorough enough to give you a good idea of how useful an app like this could be when studying for the exam. While I would not recommend this app to just anyone, this appears to be a good resource for someone studying for this particular test.
