REVIEW- “USA State Capitals Offers Little More Than Capitals”
USA State Capitals is a simple to use little app that quizzes users on state capitals and state facts. The app is clearly designed for children learning about the United States, but could appeal to anyone looking to test their basic state knowledge or build up their knowledge.
This app is based on flashcards that give information on each of the 50 states. Each flashcard features the state capital, flag, the day the state was admitted to the union and size of the state. The information provided is very basic, so don’t expect any groundbreaking or detailed information on the states.
USA State Capitals has a quiz mode that can get difficult. Being shown a state flag and being asked to match it to its state can be rather hard – but that’s the point of this app, to build up user’s basic knowledge of state capitals and flags. 
There is nothing else to this app. It doesn’t provide much information, but it does give enough for most elementary students faced with a state capital quiz (if they still give those!) USA State Capitals is interesting enough to kill some time and in honor of its recent release the developer is offering it for free.
Moving around USA State Capitals is easy and familiar. If you have ever used another flashcard/quiz app from Mulishani, this is exactly the same. Flipping through the flashcards is easy with a tap or a swipe of the finger but both the flashcards and the quizzes are completely customizable if any feature of either doesn’t fit with the user.
Overall, USA State Capitals is interesting enough to pass some time, but not that worthwhile unless you are trying to build up your knowledge of capitals and state flags.
