REVIEW- Learn a new language while on the go!
Learning a new language can be difficult, especially if you don’t practice often. Learn all the important Spanish phrases and words that are essential for communicating with Spanish speakers. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a vibrant screen that was easy to navigate through. Users can either listen to the phrase by pressing the speaker at the bottom of the phrase, or read the phrase phonetically. The illustrations that accompany the phrases help test your concentration and add visual appeal to the app. This app functions like flashcards and you can scroll through phrases easily.
The advertisements at the bottom of the screen weren’t too much of a bother but cleverly placed since scrolling down to view more phrases could potentially click on an advertisement. I hope that in the future developers can add more phrases and words to the mix so students of the Spanish language can become even more fluent. My favorite feature by far was the fact that each phrase was an English word and also that each red word was meant to emphasized. The color coordination helped.
Some of the illustrations didn’t match up with the phrases and were irrelevant, but I found that the illustrations did help me memorize phrases since there was something visual I could connect it to. If you are traveling to a Spanish speaking country, Too Cool Spanish will help you learn the basics to communicate with those around you. When I have this app, I can rest assured that I have a quick way to learn key phrases and the correct pronunciation at all times.
I would recommend this app to anyone who loves to learn languages!
