Shuffle Puzzle Lite (Free)
REVIEW—”You can never have too many puzzles!”
One quick tap to the screen and you are on your way. Shuffle Puzzle Lite mixes up the pieces to a picture and leaves you to put the pieces together again. Unlike Humpty Dumpty, you have a chance of putting these pieces back together as they aren’t the most complicated of pictures.
The light version only has 5 puzzles to choose from, but the full version has more. You can also choose between varying levels of difficulty from 9 pieces 3X3 puzzles to 25 pieces 5X5 puzzles. There is one slight catch, though. The higher the level of difficulty the more frequently the pieces are shuffled around. That means your pieces won’t constantly be in one spot for you to return to if you’ve put them in some kind of order. You have to work fast, and it can make even the simplest 25 piece puzzle all the more complicated. You can also choose to race against others who have completed the same puzzle and see if you can beat their time. Who knew you could even make puzzles competitive? I thought the excitement peaked at gluing a puzzle together and framing it. Oh, how the times have changed.
The only thing that sets me back about Shuffle Puzzle Lite is the fact that, unlike other puzzle games I have played, you can’t upload your own personal pictures into the mix. It would be so much better if you could, and not even the full version offers that option.
All in all, Shuffle Puzzle Lite is definitely a good way to kill some time and keep that mind muscle working in a fun way. Download it and give a whirl.
