REVIEW – “You’re always in the end zone with Pro Football”
With its “cut to the chase” interface, Pro Football puts all your NFL news at your fingertips. Divided into four sections: Teams, News, Scores, and Stats, Pro Football allows you immediate access to the information that you want.
Select your favorite teams and you can access a variety of information. There are links to team news and game dates, times and final scores can be found on the scoreboard. Find a schedule of future games on the team schedule link or compare your team’s standing to others in their conference and others by following the standings tab.
If you want news for the entire NFL, Zumobi cut no corners in making this application. Simply return to the application’s main screen and follow the News link. Here you will find small news headlines that keep you up to date on NFL developments like contract signings, the draft and player trading.
If you want to know the final scores of games, simply follow the Scores tab and you’ll get the latest scores for the week. If you’re someone who likes to keep track of team scores but you missed a week, no worries, you can even go back to the very first week of the season and see the final team results.
Lastly, there’s one thing that Pro Football has that is really interesting. Its creators, Zumobi, have divided the stats into two categories: offense and defensive. Offensive consists of passing, rushing, receiving, touchdowns, and kicking. And defense which consist of sacking, interceptions, and tackles. Follow any of the following tabs and you’ll find that Zumobi has listed the in descending order from highest to least, i.e. the team with the greatest number of touchdown points to the team with the least number of touchdown points. It’s nice to navigate to exactly what you want to see and not have to search along a long list for the teams that are of interest to you.
Overall, Pro Football is an app for those football lovers that need and enjoy short and sweet news and stats that are easy to locate and read. Pro Football is a pocket pal to the football fan on the go.
