REVIEW – “Puzzling Pictures are waiting for you to solve!”
Picture Scramble is an app that allows you to make a puzzle game out of pictures available right on your iPhone. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a list of instructions to create my own puzzle. I could take a new picture to become a puzzle, then mess around with the options to change the rows and columns of the puzzle as well as the background color. I could Preview the picture in order to see what it looked like as a finished puzzle, and also view the high scores table. While trying to solve my puzzle, I thought that it would be easy considering there were only four pieces! It looks a lot harder than it is. I got stumped on my first try and had to start over. I would have liked an ‘Undo’ or ‘Redo’ button to make the game a little easier.
The app keeps time of how long you take to finish a puzzle, and once you’re done you can view your high score. I would have liked to been able to save a puzzle to come back to later, but you have to take a new picture each time you open up the app. I liked the concept behind this app, which is being able to create your own puzzle game out of pictures, and I definitely haven’t seen anything like this before. It was also easy to use this app, just take a picture and then swipe the puzzle pieces in order to move them.
I think this app would be a great addition for anyone who loves solving puzzles and those who love taking picture, because this app combines the two elements into a fun experience. Definitely try this app out if you want a bit of fun and puzzle in your life!

This is the free version of the great new game Picture Scramble. It is fully functional and let’s you try out the puzzle for free.
Picture Scramble Free is a great new picture puzzle game. Take a picture with iPhone camera, select the number of rows and columns and the scrambler will slice your picture and create a puzzle for you to solve.
Simply slide the pieces around with your finger to reassemble your picture. When you’ve completed the puzzle, you can enter your name into the score board if you time is fast enough. The game will track the top 10 scores for each level.
The full version has more options so you can make more complicated puzzles with up to 7 rows and 7 columns. You can also select pictures from your library with the full version.
