REVIEW—”Working out hard was never this easy!”

I admit, I’m probably biased, but this the coolest application ever! Nike’s NikeWomen Training Club is a great application for the beginner and the expert alike. It’s made working out a lot more interesting for me, that’s for sure.
Nike even gives the users multiple options without confusing them. Gasp. Whoever heard of such a thing? From its launch you can do one of three things: simply check out the application, create a personal program for yourself, or log in.
When you check out the application, Nike’s Training Club walks you through simple and short 2 or 3-minute workout routines. For example, you could do the Parachuter Push Up for 2 minutes. Don’t know what that is? Ha. Me neither, but Nike solved that problem. Each workout is accompanied by a tutorial video that shows you how to accurately and effectively complete each workout. Once you select the workout, start the timer and Training Club will count down, the blow of a whistle will let you know when to stop. Get off to a bad start? Just clip the reset arrow next to the time and you’re ready to start again. When you’re done, just click I’m done and NikeWomen Training Club keeps a track of the workouts you’ve completed.
Once you know what you like and dislike, I’d recommend creating your own program. Pick a personal avatar that looks like you, even make your own at nikewomen.com, and then select a workout focus: core training, strength, or cardio. From here you can establish how often you would like to commit to this workout: 2 workouts for 2 weeks (casual), 3 workouts for 3 weeks (committed), 4 workouts for 4 weeks (intense).
Then all you’re left to do is log in. Logging in allows you to track all this information on nikewomen.com. You can challenge friends, set goals and shatter them. This application keeps you on your toes and with its simple interface, NikeWomen Training Club makes creating working out without a trainer fun and simple!
