REVIEW- “A Girly Multiplayer Game is right at your fingertips!”
The Girl Wars (Girls only) is an app meant for any girl who wants a bit of drama, fashion, and fun in their lives. Anyone who has played the Mafia Wars version will love the girly side of this app, which follows along the same concept as Mafia Wars. Girly Wars focuses on pleasing “The Diva” and fighting bad girls in order to earn your place in the fashion world. Cue the catfight! Upon opening this app, I was instructed to create a name in order for my scores to appear on the Leaderboard, then pick if which class I wanted to be, Princess, Health Nut or a Biz Woman.
After choosing, I was brought to the home screen that I found very visually pleasing because it resembled a type of designer purse. Once at the home screen, users can choose from a variety of options such as start a Cat fight, go to the mall, buy some real estate, go to the spa or bank, view your profile, crew, or the forum. At the top of the home screen was a summary of how much money I had, health and energy as well as what level I was. I found that each feature loaded quickly and each feature was entertaining enough to keep my attention.
I found that the ‘Invitation’ feature enhanced the multiplayer experience, and even allowed me to locate Girl War players in my area to add to “my crew”. Girl wars states that a bigger crew is a more powerful crew, so inviting your friends to play this game is a great way to advance in the game.
All in all, I found this app to be very entertaining and tailored to fit a girly-girl’s entertainment needs with a visually pleasing interface, easy-to-use features and the ability to get your closest friends involved with all the fun.
