This is a game that the whole family can enjoy. It is simple enough for even children to play, but has enough depth of play to be interesting for pretty much anyone. Fishtank-Manager is a game of quick thinking and quick fingers. The basic concept is that you grab fish and sort them into fish tanks in such a way that they won’t eat each other until you have buyers looking to buy that particular kind of fish.
First I would like to say that the graphics and sound in this game are top notch, although they are probably aimed at a younger audience. As you play you will find that throughout the game it will explain to you which fish will eat each other. It does by using pictures so that anyone will be able to understand.
This game does a lot of things right. The gameplay itself is very addicting. As you progress through the levels you come across a wide variety of fish that interact differently with each other. You also get a lot more fish to manage and so it becomes imperative to think quickly. Kill too many fish and it’s game over!
One cool feature that a lot more developers are jumping onto recently is the addition Facebook support. You can link Fishtank-Manager to your Facebook account to compare your score with all of your friends which definitely adds another dimension to the game.
In addition to Facebook support there are also varying difficulty levels that you can choose from in the options menu. This makes it truly a game for all ages. The “chill” mode is very slow and much easier to manage, while “crazy” is well… it’s just crazy!
There are few games that offer this much fun for such a broad target audience. So whether you are looking for a fun time-kill for you, or if you have a child that needs something to distract them for a few minutes, I would definitely recommend you download Fishtank-Manager for just $1.99 from the App Store!
