Calling all college football fans! If you constantly need to know how the polls are stacking up, or how your team performed this week, or how your conference is stacking up this year, or maybe just to talk smack about that last amazing play, this app is probably for you!
One of things that I have noticed in a lot of sports apps is that it is often cumbersome to find the latest poll results for college football in them. Having this app will solve that problem, as well as help you keep up with scores all around college football live!
The opening screen of this app is a general overview of the scores around the league and can be sorted by your favorite teams, the top 25, or it can just show ever score in college football. The interface is fairly easy to navigate using the bar at the bottom of the screen and includes pages for customizing the “My Teams” feature, checking the current standings in every Division I conference, checking the current polls and also for viewing breaking news stories.
The one feature that really stands out in this app is the ability “Boo or Cheer” life and “Smack Talk” during games. This can truly expand the experience for dedicated fans who enjoy that sort of thing. All of that said, this app offers a lot of good information in a tight and easy to use package. The major shortcomings are really just the lack of more “localized” stories on your favorite teams and the ability to see what games are coming up in the future.
I would recommend that any college football fanatic at least give this app a test run, if nothing else just because it is free.
