REVIEW – “A Bible Study tool at your fingertips”
Bible Master 4000L is great for anyone who wants to quickly view the Bible in a convenient, portable way. When I first opened the app, I was greeted with a dial feature that listed the books of the Bible, chapter numbers and verses. Yes, there were advertisements at the top but they were small enough that users can disregard them. I found the dial feature to be extremely useful, because it allowed users to find exact passages quickly without having to flip through hundreds of pages to find them. I do think that the dial feature should have been a bit smaller so that the actual text has more room, making it easier to read.
Under the text are the options to either add to your favorites, or send an e-mail to a family member or friend. E-mailing the verse to others is easy because the subject and message is already filled in for you.
I found this app to be very straightforward and also keeps users organized. When I added a verse to my Favorites, the verses appeared in the same order they are in the Bible, and I had the option to add Tags to further organize the verses. If I had too many verses in the Favorites section, I could easily search through my tags in order to find particular verses. The interface itself was nicely designed and focused on efficiency and organization.
If the advertisements bother users, they can upgrade to the paid version for an ad-free bible experience. All in all, this is a great app for anyone who wants the simplicity of carrying the entire Bible on their phone and wants to organize their favorites quickly and easily.
