There is nothing I love more than a trip to the bookstore, classics and the latest bestsellers all in one place. The crack of a brand new book’s spine or the frailty of a used books pages that itself tells a story of how that book came to be there and the people who read it before you. Unfortunately, the hustle and bustle of everyday life often leaves me unable to wander lazily around the bookstore reading the backs and simply being surrounded by the words that I love so much. However, with Barnes and Noble’s Bookstore app, I can at least get the books I want and that’s better than nothing, right?
With this app, users can peruse the bookstore as if they were there. From its launch, Barnes and Noble has a list of options. Bestsellers will give you a list of the latest bestselling books, music and DVDS. New Releases has the most up to date releases of books, music and DVDS. B&N Recommends is a section where Barnes and Noble offers their own recommendations for what users should look into. And in B&N reviews users can see what exactly B&N reviewers think of certain books, music and DVDs. You can also search books, movies and music by title.
Looking for a Barnes and Noble near you? Simply enter you zip code into the B&N search engine and you’ll get a list of the nearest B&N in your area. Anything you purchase will be added to your cart, and it’s great, because the B&N app is so easy to navigate. The icons directly relate to their intended purpose and they are labeled so nothing is confusing here.
