Keeping a handle and an eye on your finances is much easier when you use the Bank of America Mobile Banking app.
Without anyone knowing what you’re up to, you can pay bills, transfer money and check balances on your iPhone. This is especially useful to those of us who forget if they paid the electric bill and wonder while out shopping for groceries.
Once you download the app, you can sign in with your online banking ID and passcode. Once you have done that
, you will have access to the balances in your account or accounts, and to your bill pay information. You want to make sure you already have your bills set up in your bill pay account, because there’s no way to do that with this mobile app.
One of the most useful features of the app might not be the access you have to your account info, but rather access you have to local ATMs. With high fees charged if you don’t use your own bank’s ATM, it’s worth a bit of effort to find a BofA ATM if you’re out and about.
You can have the app use your current location to find a nearby ATM, or you can enter an address or zip code to find an ATM near where you plan to be.
It’s important to note that this app can be a little slow and it sometimes gets stuck as you roll through the features. It will get there, but it’s not a zippy app, so have patience when using it. It’s likely that when you use this app, it will be just for a quick hit—you need to find an ATM location, or you need to pay that pesky electric bill, transfer money or check balances. For that, it works fine.
