In today’s world, news travels fast, and we want to receive news even faster. For those of you that like to know all the time what is happening in the world or in your region, you should consider downloading and installing the free app AP Mobile.

AP Mobile is a free application developed by Associated Press, that received numerous good reviews, being rated Top 10 iPhone Application in 2008 by Time Magazine and “one of the best new apps” by Business Week. Basically, AP Mobile allows users to have access to all the news that go through Associated Press (one of the biggest news agencies in the world). This alone should let you know that you’ll always be informed with the most recent news.

The app is really easy to use, so that you can find whatever you want, whenever you want, and fast. You can browse all the latest world news, or if you want something specific, you can always go and choose your main topic of interest from the categories tab. Also, you can filter the news you want to receive by turning certain categories on and off. Another thing that can be quite handy, especially for journalists, is that you can actually submit a news story using AP Mobile. You can basically send news, tips and photos to AP really easy, so if you are witness to an event, you can share it with the world.

Overall, the application is really easy to use, and is perhaps one of the best sources of global and local news for your iPhone. Considering the fact that AP Mobile is free and it only occupies 1.5MB this is something that you should have on your iPhone if you like to be well informed.
