The science behind this is debatable, and users of this app have reported a variety of experiences when using Anti Mosquito Free. iTunes is full of reviews that range from sweet success to someone having a mosquito land on their phone while using this app.
Using Anti Mosquito Free is simple. Open the app and there you go. If you are using an iPod Touch, make sure it’s hooked up to speakers or else, well, no one will be hearing the sounds, human or insect. Some people may question if the app is even emitting a sound since humans can’t hear at the Hz level Anti Mosquito Free operates at. I guess it takes a leap of faith. But nothing can ruin a night like the mosquito, so taking the risk of putting your iPhone or iPod touch on the middle of the table might be worth it just to see.
Anti Mosquito Free only works with the 3.0 software, so make sure you have the upgrade.
If you have nights that are particularly mosquito filled, Anti Mosquito Free might work for you. Traditional ways of keeping the mosquitoes at bay have variable success rates too. Every tiki torch surrounded party always seems to become a swarm fest anyway. But at least this app is free.
