REVIEW – “A Revolution in iPhone Games”
If you enjoy video games (and particularly games that are a throwback to the first games from Atari, for instance) you’ll love 3D Brick Breaker Revolution.
This game is played in landscape mode, and that allows you to enjoy all the graphic fun that this game provides.
The object here is simple – break as many bricks as you can by using your finger to tap toward the bricks. As with any good video game, your score is calculated immediately as you play. Any good video game also provides a villain and this one is no exception. There is a red-eyed robot head that challenges you, trash talks you, and just generally seeks to demoralize you before you play the game.
This game has a real retro feel to it and we liked that it feels a bit like a game of pinball, but on the phone.
You can advance through levels in this game, like any good video game (just be aware that the trash talking doesn’t cease). You will be prompted often to buy the full version of the game, and you can easily do your shopping on the phone.
If you like to play your phone games while at the office, in line or on the train, we like that you can take the quiet option and say “no” to music and to sound effects. We also like that you can choose your language. You can play in English, of course, but also French, Italian, German and Spanish.
