REVIEW – “A cute diversion for Valentines Day!”
Do you find yourself always wondering where your significant other
is while you are away from them? Or maybe you have a certain place that you love like no other that you think about a lot. With iFallinLove you can now keep track of how far you are away from a person or a place and if you have have an iPhone 3GS you can even know what direction their location is in.
On the surface this is a gimmicky, cheesy app, but at the same time it is 
only $0.99. For some it will be worth, and for others it won’t. When you open this app up you will see a blue heart in the center of the screen. In order to track or “fall in love” with a location all you have to do is touch the heart. Once you are “in love” with a location the further away from that place you get the smaller the red heart will get. If you ever want to fall in love with a new location it’s as simple as shaking your device and touching the heart repeatedly till it cracks and turns blue again.
While this location tracking is cool, what’s really cool is the ability to link directly to someone else’s phone with this app. If you are within 50 meters of the other iPhone and you both “fall in love” at the same time, the app will actually fall in love with the other phone. This means that if you get close to the other phone while this app is 
open the heart will get bigger, and it will get smaller as you get further away. If the other party’s phone does not have this app open then it simply uses the last known location of the other phone.
The way that you know that you are locked in with another phone and not just a location is that you will see two small hearts in the lower left corner. The longer you go without logging in at the same time as the other phone the further the 
two hearts will move apart. At any time you can touch these little hearts to send a “thought sparkle.” What this does is send them a message. It will show up when they open up the app as a small “sparkle” that will be read when they touch it from within the app.
Well that’s pretty much it. Simple yes? Does it do what it says? That would be another yes! While obviously this app is not groundbreaking, and it certainly not going to change the world, what it can be is entertaining for a few minutes and it could very well be the conversation starter that you’ve been looking for as well!
