Review – “Tank shooter with great graphics and control.”

Great Tank war is a Tank-based shooter, and with a pretty detailed game play and fantastic graphics. Fans of War-Games or strategy-shooters are going to really enjoy this App.
You start the game with a basic tank and bullets, and by completing the missions you earn points and gold which can be used to upgrade your tank and buy various inventory items to better improve your game. The first level is a free-for-all with no time limit, meaning that you should shoot, kill, and collect as much as you can while taking out the bases of the enemy.

The game play is easy to do, but unique enough to still be challenging. You control the direction of your tanks movements with your left thumb, and the direction of your tanks fire with your right thumb. While this means that you can theoretically fire in 360 degrees around your tank, you will still need to move around to find the bases and other enemies to kill. Another feature that I quite enjoyed is that the men on the ground are vulnerable to getting run-over by your tank – meaning you can aim on larger targets while still killing the smaller ones.

Each successive mission gets more difficult. With different, more different enemies and time limits. However the overall game play stays the same. The graphics are suburb and I’m willing to bet a lot of time went into working on that aspect of it. The App Description boats of “historically accurate” tanks & weapons.

Once you’ve collected enough gold you can shop for new armor and weapons. Once you upgrade you also have the option to sell from your inventory. Also, once your tank reaches certain levels in Tank and Soldier kills you get special upgrades to your tank itself which can be added or removed from the Inventory Page. Although I did not unlock enough to see what these exact upgrades are, the App description says that they are different types of additional weapons for your tank.
If you’re looking for a war game that will give you hours of pleasure, this is the one. Not perfect for one-off or quick play, this game will get you addicted and then have you upgrading, and playing again and again. Between the long-term playability and the fantastic graphics and upgrade inventory, this game is absolutely worth the $2.99, go ahead and check it out!
