See the time of day anywhere in the world
Globetimer is the only world clock that simultaneously displays the time worldwide at a single glance.
The whole world is on your iPhone or iPod screen.
Quickly check, for example Sydney and Moscow’s time when it’s noon in Los Angeles, 8pm in London and 5am in Tokyo.
You can also easily centrally position any time zone and see how “others” view times around the world.
Verify which part of the world is awake and active and which part should be at rest. Make your calls to anywhere at the appropriate hour.
Edit, add, or change your favorite cities (spelled as you wish). You can also place the names of friends, family, or colleagues in place of city names.
Further, personalize your Globetimer with your preferred colors, and you can set the clock to a 12 or 24 hour mode.
Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjusts itself automatically.
Insert a time zone offset wherever it applies, e.g. “New Delhi(30),:” (see below)
Globetimer’s quick-reference Database will help you refresh your basic knowledge of all the worlds capitals and significant cities (requires a web connection).

HOW TO USE GLOBETIMER:
Use the Options button to customize.
1- General
• Select the time zone value you wish to display in central position.
• Set digital clock operation: 24-hour or 12-hour, a.m./p.m
2 – Cities.
• Change cities (and spelling) with preferred ones.
• Enter and add new places in pertinent time zone (see below.)
• Enter a person’s name instead of the name of a city.
• Specify whether added cities adopt DST (see below )
• Read and edit offset time values whenever it occurs: 15, 30, 45 minutes. (Some places have plus 15, 30, and 45 minutes time offsets with respect to GMT.
When adding such new places, enter 30, as for “N. Delhi(30)” to mentally add 30 minutes to its displayed time, if you’re not located in the same time zone.)
Database (web connection required)
• delivers quick basic facts about the world’s main cities using the following legend:
-asterisk (*) = city/country adopts DST
-different color = city/country located in Southern hemisphere
-1st number = metropolitan population
-2nd number = total country population

• select preferred colors of:
-cities background,
-DST cities,
-normal cities,
-time zone values,
-digital clock display
