REVIEW – “Get the chance to run your own Fast Food Restaurant!”
I have no idea why but I love cooking games where I get to sit and make different meals and fill order. Games like that are pretty rare and ones that I enjoy are even more so, but Fast Food Nation is a great little cooking game that I really enjoy playing.
When you start out you get to create your own character. Now you don’t have a lot of options and expect your character to turn out pretty silly looking but the bit of customization that is offered is a nice little extra that is fun.
The game starts off with your uncle’s death and he leaves you his fast food restaurant. What means is that you now have to run it. You start off on hot dogs and as you progress through the levels you work your way up to different upgrades and additions to your restaurant.
The game starts off really slow and easy, almost too slow because there were moments when I was waiting around for an order to fill.
Eventually you move your way up to hamburgers and fries, and then you get to work with advertising and even a computer.
The game play is easy enough you drag your meat or fries to cook and then once they have cooked you add whatever topping or condiments that the customer ordered. The orders appear on the top of the screen and the faster you fill them the happier the customers will be. If you make a wrong order and serve it to a customer instead of throwing it away they will eat it but not pay for it.
Each day you have a goal to reach and the levels get harder and harder as they go on. The game is very addictive and even though the graphics were not the best it does not affect the game play.
The background sounds and music were nice as well and I thought they were pretty good considering the game.
There are plenty features as far as upgrades and extras for your restaurant. There are plenty of levels and challenges to keep this game interesting for a long time, not to mention that they continue to upgrade it.
The game is normally $2.99 but is currently onsale for a limited time, so get it while you can!
