REVIEW – “This fun racing game brings back all your favorite characters!”
I used to love playing the Crash Bandicoot series and it was always fun to get the powerups and defeat Dr. Cortex. Well now I can have that same fun on my iPhone with Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D.
As far as graphics go this is a great game, it really does great with the 3D and stays true to the look and feel of the Crash Bandicoot world. While it may not be the most impressive game graphically it doesn’t really have to be and it still is a great deal of fun.
When you start you are given a great tutorial which tells you how to jump, collect and use power ups and everything else you need to know to beat Dr. Cortex, Crash’s sister and all of your other favorite Crash characters.
You use the accelerometer to race, tilting it to make the turns and so forth. I highly recommend experimenting with the accelerometer sensitivity to find what works for you because trying to race when it is too sensitive may cause you to lose quite a few races. 
I loved that some of the powerups and the things you collect are items are such that you will also recognize from the games so that was an added benefit that I really appreciated.
The tracks are fun and they all feel like levels from Crash Bandicoot which is also great for fellow fans of the game. The races are not always easy either, it takes a bit of practice before you can truly start staying ahead of the pack.
There are also short cuts that can be really helpful if you find them and sometimes necessary because your opponents know that those short cuts exist as well.
But that is not all there is to this game, because at first you can only play as Crash and that might get boring for those of you who like other characters in the game. Well then you have to work toward that goal by collecting letters on the tracks. Each time you spell out CRASH you unlock a new character so be sure to stay on the lookout for those letters.
Now remember this isn’t as easy as it may sound because all the boosts and power ups that you get (bombs, missiles, shields and teleports) are available to every other racer on the track. So even though you might be in first and way ahead of the pack, one lucky power up from your opponent could send you all the way to the back again.
This game has been out in the appstore for awhile which means that the kinks have all been ironed out and you’re left with a fun Crash Bandicoot themed Mario Kart, and to be honest I didn’t even miss Mario..Yoshi maybe but not Mario.

‘.Hey there,why is it that each time I open the appstoreto look for this game,two options appear in the list-nitro 3d and nitro kart 2 but each time I select any of the options,it says ‘no match found’.I have nitro 3d and want to check out nitro 2 but this is hindering me from doing so.have the games been taken off? This issue started yesterday when I tried to download the update to nitro 3d which adds two new characters ie crocodile and another but when I restarted my phone and the game,the characters weren’t there!please explain and fix.thanks.
