This game combines the fun of puzzle games with the cute graphics and adorable little cows. Cows in Space is a great game for fans of Peggle, and while there are a number of similar puzzle games it is rare to find one with graphics this nice and this much game play.
The game starts off with an easy level and complete instructions. The point of the game is to save the cows who are currently trapped in space due to a failed experiment. The way you save them is to make them touch small star circles that will teleport the cows back to Earth. The way you do this is to shoot red balls into space in order to move the objects and get them to come in contact with each other.
The puzzle side of the game comes from the fact that you only have a certain number of shots and you only have a limited amount of time before your cows run out of oxygen. You have to save all of the cows to move on to the next level.
As you progress the levels obviously get harder but it also introduces both good and back objects. There are some that will destroy your cows and others that will provide you with extra shots. Be careful make sure you know what each thing does before you let your cows touch them.
This game offers great graphics and very smooth easy game play. The puzzles get difficult rather quickly which is rather nice because having to go through a dozen easy levels can be tedious.
There are 50 different levels to play through so you will come back to this game time and time again in order to find a way to beat all of the levels. The sounds are also very cute and fit the quality of the graphics.
The only downside I can really see to this game is that overall it is nothing new. The idea of working these puzzles in an area unaffected by gravity is rather fun but other than that the only thing that sets it apart is the graphics and the unique premise to the game.

Hit the cow in the bottom right corner so it hits star then the star hits the cow next to it and it gets sucked down to vacuum. this has to be done perfect so the the star is on the bottom side of the vacuum when it stops moving so you can hit it slightly on the right side, it will bounce down and you bump in to it with your spaceship and try and get it to bounce around near cows on the left side. Took me forever to just get the first half set up right, after that its kinda easy to get the left side cows, just have to make sure you have 1 ball left..
Level 48 is impossible. It ruins the game
I just beat LVL 48!
Sorry that I can’t be more specific for where to aim, but I was frustrated with this level, just spacing out and knocking them around when it happened.
Hope this helps:
1st shot – hit the far right cow which hit the star, hitting the other cow on that side. [2 cows out, star a bit to the right of the center, not affected by the vacuum/blower]
2nd shot – hit the star to the top of the screen, bounced back to the bottom, then used the shooter to knock it to the left side. Here’s where I got lucky – the star bounced around over there enough to take out the other three cows.
I still had one shot left(!), so if you can at least get one of them out with the bounce you might have a chance with the last shot. The score when I was done was 231, so there wasn’t much cow movement on the left side.

Fucking done it!!!! sorry pardon my french…!!….
ok you need to hit the cow on the bottom right to the star above it which then hits the two cows top right of the screen….. then i shot the star with my second shot and it went over to the top left side hitting one of the cows top left……. two cows left with the star inbetween so i hit the bottom cow into the star and it went into the top cow!!!!!
i tried this tones of times so its a case of working on it and alot of luck!! I spent ages!!!!!!

YEEEAAAHHHH Cows in space complete!!!! level 49 and 50 are sooooooooo easy!!! cant belive 48 is crazy!!!
I got it in 2 shots, by hitting the bottom left cow (with the beam) approx in line with the highlight around the bubble (9 o’clock) an bouncing it off the red star. From there, it was just like a pinball game and just slammed the cows around as much as I could, and using the other cows floating around to knock each other out. Keep them moving is the trick!
I got 250 on level 48. The trick is to bounce a shot off the blue peg on the right into the star…. The you get them all! Anyone got full points on level 21 or 50?
I just hit the cow on the lower right. Made it hit the star. The star hits the next cow in the upper right. Then I shot at the star making it come down to me. Then I just racked the #”¤%”¤#¤” to the left and it bounced into the rest of the cows.
Remember: whenever you get the star close to your vessel rack the ¤#&&%¤&#¤%”¤!!!!
yeah just completed level 48 49 and 50. 48 was sooo difficult. the rest was just too easy compared to 48!

hey yeah so i beat level 48 with a score of 1.
Here’s what i did
1) shoot the right bottom most cow in (the back foot if he is facing right, the outside nostril if he is facing left) he’ll bounce and hit the star in the top right then the star will bounce and hit the other cow in the top right. The the star will gravitate to the red target on the right
2) shoot the left bottom most cow in (the bubble glare part on his bubble) he’ll bounce off the left red target then get pushed by the blue target to the bottom of the screen. After that its a matter of playing some pong/break out and just getting lucky enough to slam the star into the last 2 cows
3) third shot incase you fuckup and need to get the star back
