CineCrop iPhone App Review ($0.99)

If you use your iPhone to take and manipulate photos then you may be interested in what CineCrop has to offer. This app is developed by Kert Gartner and the concept behind it is simple.. take your photos and apply different cinematic aspect ratios to them to give them that cinema appearance. Let’s take a look..
When you first open the app it defaults to your photo library so that you can choose a photo that you are interested in adding a cinema effect to. After you choose your photo it goes to the main window where you can pick your crop ratio, apply the crop, go into settings, and find out application information.
You can choose your crop and then hit Apply to crop the image (which creates a new image and does not overwrite the original). You can also hit the long button on the bottom left in order to change the ratio where some of your options are High Definition TV, iPhone Full Screen, etc. You can hit the wrench and go into the Settings where you can rotate the image and even flip flop the image. By hitting the ‘i’ button you can find out more information about the Aspect Ratio or even check out the CineCrop Manual.
Once you hit Crop the next screen gives you the option to either Save or Undo. Saving the image actually gives you two options .. which is to save in to your library or to send it out in an email.
Simple enough? While this app is very simple and easy to use it can also come in handy if you are interested in a way to quickly and easily apply these types of crops to your images. If you are interested in checking this app out, head on over to the App Store today.
