REVIEW – “Maintain your battery life with the Battery Doctor!”
Let’s be honest, you’ve probably heard all kinds of different techniques that are
supposed to take care of your battery right? What if I were to tell you that I knew where you could find a bunch information on about taking care of your device’s batter in one place? What if I were to also tell you that in that same place you would also find
a tool for making sure that you maintain your device properly? What if I were to tell you that you might be able to win a copy of this amazing iPhone/iPod Touch app for free? Whether you are a true tech nerd or a novice user Battery Doctor Pro is an app that is both informative and extremely useful!
When you startup the app you will be greeted by the “Status” screen. Here you’ll see a large battery at the top of the screen that shows how much c harge you have left. Below the battery is some basic information how how to perform a “Full Cycle Charge” which is something that you should be doing at least once a month to maintain your battery.
At the bottom of the screen there are several menu options. Some of them just have information and tips on battery life, while the “Log” tab has a chart that shows you some history about how you’ve been taking care if your battery with this app. There is also an option to set how long it will “trickle charge” before
notifying you that it has finished a full charge cycle.
In addition to the advice on extending battery life, this app also will show you approximately how much battery life you have left if you were to use your device for certain activities! This is kind of nice if you don’t have time for a full charge but want to get an idea of how long your device will last at its current charge level.
Alright enough with the small talk. The bottom line
is that if you think that this is an app that could be useful to you I would recommend that you go ahead and check out the free version in the App Store today. Just imagine putting 20+ colorful, battery zapping themes into an application that is supposed to extend battery life. This sort of defeats the purpose don’t you think. if the app had one, black and white theme designed to save battery life, I would be more likely to buy it. This app does nothing except drain battery life and occupy space.
the idea of this app is not to save battery power while it is running. The idea is to help you properly condition your battery so that it will last longer between charges!
i havent seen a change in the batter life in my phone
You wouldnt see a change, of course. As David says, the app is only to help the battery maintain its current lifespan longer. It will still deteriorate,
