Whether you are currently adding on to your family or just trying to rediscover your roots there is no greater thrill than unraveling the mystery of where you come from. With Ancestry.com Tree to Go  you can bring your family tree with you no matter where you go, so you can add pictures, memories and names right from your phone.

Building a family tree can be a very long process and one that can progress at the most unexpected moments. You could be making a quick stop at a library and find something there or you could be wandering through a cemetery and see a familiar name. You could even be spending time with family and want to bring up that new bit of information you recently discovered. It is all right there at the touch of a button.

When you open the app it will ask you for your ancestry.com login and password. If you don’t have one it is easy and free to create one. Then it will start by asking you to fill out your tree as far as you can remember. Starting with you, from there you can go into your parents or into your children, either way your tree will start to grow before your eyes.

Once you have the names down you can start to add information about them. Add pictures, events or just some notes to remember about that family member.

You may not see the benefit of this app now, but it will come in handy any time you visit family members and want to add on to your tree. The pictures and memories that you stir up will bring you closer to your family and be a great resource to pass down for generations to come.

I love the fact that this app is simple and yet it includes everything that you could want. It is also incredibly user friendly, everything is very intuitive so you will never get bogged down in features you don’t need or waste five minutes trying to access the features you do need.

I highly recommend downloading this app. You will see in time just how fun it can be to create your own family tree.
