If you’re a parent of an infant, you know how difficult it can be to get them to relax at times. Whether your child just has a temper or they have something that is irritating them like gas, the massage
techniques found in this app can help you calm them down. The techniques shown in this app are all recommended by the developer of the app, Aimee, who works as a pediatric occupational therapist, and so you can use them with confidence!
When you open up Aimee’s Babies Baby Massage you’ll a 
small disclaimer that this app is not a substitute for visiting a doctor for a child that needs it. Once you touch Okay you’ll be taken straight to the main menu. At the bottom of the screen you’ll find links to additional information/contact information for Aimee.
The first menu button at the top of the screen will take you to a screen explaining when you should use the massage techniques contained in this app. Basically it says that if your child’s problems are most likely related to them being sick or having hurt themselves you should take them to a doctor, and not expect these techniques to fix them.
The second menu option from the home page will explain the “Benefits of Massage.” Just a few of the 
major benefits are that it can give them more restful sleep, aid digestion and improve their bodies natural immune system, but there are many more!
Once you’re ready to start learning about the massage techniques all you need to do is touch the “Massage Strokes” button and then select one of the available options on the massage strokes screen.
Each massage stroke page has a description of how it is performed. While it’s pretty easy to tell what to do from the reading the description, I think most people will want to just watch the video. To watch the video 
just touch the “Play” button in the lower right corner and you’ll see a video of Aimee performing and describing the massage stroke.
Whether or not you prescribe to the idea that you can improve your baby’s immunity, motor skills, ability to sleep, etc. at the very least these techniques will be something that your baby and you can both enjoy. Most of the time material like this is fairly expensive and so this app is really a steal at just $2.99. Whether you’re a parent or you take care of an infant regularly, I would recommend that you download this app and give some of these techniques a try!
